What do art and cupcakes have in common? MAWA’s Over the Top Art Auction and Cupcake Party! This popular annual event returns for its ninth year on Sunday March 17th, 2013, from 2-5 pm.
Bid on work by approximately 100 of the country’s hottest artists, including Wanda Koop, Aganetha Dyck, Shaun Morin, Melanie Rocan, Bill Eakin, KC Adams and many, many more. You might also discover an emerging artist who will be the next art star to come out of Winnipeg!
Bidding on each work starts at just $50.

Admission: $10 in advance, $12 at door
The art auction will be open for preview and advance bids on Friday, March 15 from 4 – 9 p.m. and on Saturday, March 16 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Bid early and bid high to avoid disappointment! Note, advance bids are secured with a credit card. All proceeds go towards MAWA programming. MAWA is a not-for-profit arts organization with the mandate to encourage and support the intellectual and creative development of women in the visual arts.
