We read with great interest the article in The Winnipeg Jewish Review about Rabbi Ephraim Bryks. We lived in Winnipeg at the time and had family members who were affected. It was devastating to many of the children and to the families who were his alleged victims. In addition, very troubling were actions taken by Rabbi Bryks defenders, board members, and lawyers, who threatened lawsuits if complaints were voiced.
Even if Rabbi Bryks has not been charged, your reviewing and highlighting the history of his infamous career allows justice to be served.
