"We extend our congratulations to Kathleen Wynne on her victory at the Ontario Liberal leadership convention.” said Frank Dimant, CEO of B’nai Brith Canada. “We look forward to continuing our work on behalf of the Canadian Jewish community with the government under its new leadership. We also commend all of the leadership candidates for their efforts during the campaign for Liberal leader.”
“In our capacity as Canada’s senior Jewish human rights advocacy organization, we will continue to advance the interests of the province’s Jewish community as well as working for social justice for all Ontarians. B’nai Brith’s priority issues of concern for the government under its new leadership include the need for resources to combat racism and discrimination in all its forms, the urgent attention to poverty and the lack of affordable housing in the province, and Alzheimer’s treatment.”
