As we approach a total of 400 aerial attacks launched from Gaza since the cease fire which halted Israel’s Cast Lead’ military incursion into Gaza on January 19, 2009, an upgraded Qassam rocket scored a direct hit on the ceiling of  children’s hydrotherapy rehabilitation center on  Saturday night, August 1, located in the heart of  Sderot’s Sapir College.

TO SURVIVE, PALESTINIANS NEED AN ELECTION SYSTEM THAT WILL RESULT IN TRUE PREPRESENTATION RATHER THAN THE FAILED ONE THAT HAS SPUTTERED ON AND OFF.

Parliamentary systems do not really work in the Arab world. It definitely doesn’t work in Palestine, where coalitions are hard to establish and people vote not on the basis of issues but on ethnicity, religion, tribes and clans.
