The University of Winnipeg Wesmen in conjunction with lea marc Printing Solutions announced that Basketball Players Yael Kaplan and Eric Zimmermanhave been chosen as the lea marc Printing Solutions Wesmen Athletes of theMonth for December 2011.

Kaplan, second year guard led the team in scoring in both games played duringthe month of December. The highlight of the month was a double-doubleperformance consisting of 17 points, 11 rebounds at the Duckworth Challengeagainst the Manitoba Bisons. The Wesmen defeated Manitoba 56-42.
