When the Chai Folk Ensemble was in Mexico City last year, we met a very talented choreographer, Moy Covalin. We are bringing him to Winnipeg for 2 weeks in February to work with our dancers. Moy has created a dance/exercise program called “EthnoFit” that has become very popular in Mexico. He did a class for our performers while we were there and it was tons of fun and an incredible workout. We have planned a community-wide Ethno Fit Workshop on Sunday evening, February 19th and we are hoping you will join us. Participation is open to all who are 14 years of age and older and the fee is $15 per person. Light refreshments will be served afterward and people will have a chance to meet and talk to Moy.
