Winnipeg B’nai Brith Yachad Couples Unit 5056 is looking forward to hosting their third annual Chanukah celebrationat the Saul & Claribel Simkin Centre.
The program will be on Dec. 21st at 2:00 at Shirley Brown, a very talented Winnipegsinger, whose repertoire includes many Yiddish, Hebrew and Chanukah numberswill entertain the residents. She will be accompanied by pianist, GeriSpencer.
Dainties from Gunn’s Bakery andfruit will be handed out to the audience by the members of Yachad. Socializing with the residents, a few of whom had belonged to Yachad, is animportant part of the afternoon’s celebrations.
