Recreation and Program Services Facilitator
6 month Contract Position
We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for the following duties at the Gwen Secter Seniors Centre.
The individual will have previous experience in working with volunteers and seniors. A clear Criminal Record Check and a Vulnerable Adult Abuse check must be provided.
1. Plan, develop, implement, deliver and evaluate all existing centre directed programs
2. Develop, implement and deliver new programs and activities
3. Ensure the marketing of all programs in the immediate and ‘at large’ community
4. Recruit, train and place/assign appropriate volunteers to ensure programs are delivered effectively.
5. Coordinate external/outside agency programs and activities in accordance with facility availability.
6. Oversee and administer front reception desk operations
7. Develop strategies to augment membership in Gwen Secter
