It is wonderful to see that so many young Winnipeggers are here in Israel these days. Here in Kiriat Shmona things are almost completely quiet: No sirens, no explosions, no running to the shelter! I guess we are sitting this one out.
A far cry from the ‘90s and 2006 when we were the main targets. On the good side, we were interviewed endlessly by the foreign press. Well, I don’t miss any of it, and instead we got to host families from the south.
From your articles I see that there are at least 20 young Winnipeggers living in Israel. (young is anything below 50). K’ayneh Horra. We have room for another 12,000, so tell all your friends.
