Statement from Herzlia Synagogue received by Editor of Winnipeg Jewish Review July 10, 2013
We at Herzlia-Adas Yeshurun are greatly disappointed with the Rady Centre's decision to withdraw from further negotiations regarding the establishment of a satellite Day Care in the property of the Herzlia-Adas Yeshurun.
We believe the decision is short sighted and believe that a golden opportunity to enhance the entire Winnipeg Jewish Community has been missed. This is a blow to the many families that are looking to our Community for a Jewish Daycare for their children.
We will now proceed very quickly to alternative plans which we will be discussing with Winnipeg Jewish Federation within the next 24-48 hours.
